When I had my Prince Albert done the piercer guy told me that it would heal quickly due to the urine regularly cleaning it. I found that it was definitly the quickest healing of all my piercings (ear, nose, nipple, belly button, scrotum, Albert)

So my experience is that it certainly can help with healing.

I've also heard the stories of peeing on people who have been stung by certain jellyfish.

In the case of certain jelly fish strings I have heard it is indispensible. There are also arguments for drinking ones own urine as a wider and more systemic prophylactic, although its not something I do (very often ).
I suppose the answer to your question rather depends upon what you are trying to heal, but urine does seem to have some potentially therapeutic/disinfectant properties according to some accounts, in the desert it may even save your life if you can contrive to capture the fluid for later consumption?

Urine does have disinfectant qualities. Certainly don't go urinating on an open wound though!
