My Texas Alligator Lizards seem to get happy when i dump a couple dozen crickets in their tank, so i would say yes.

yes my friend, lizards do have emotions, your lizard could be having mood swings due to menustration cycle, menopause or maybe it needs a good old shag, the lizard i'm married to has the same probs, hope you are enlightened, peace.

My leopard Gecko (called Cuthburt) goes into hiding for a while every so often when he is moody, and he sometimes looks really cute and smiley. He can also wink too!!! Which I think is great! He copies me when I do it, (but i have been training him for ten years!!!)

all living things has emotions; it's just that unlike human, they don't have the facility called thoughts. so they can't think or ponder that feelings called emotion.
