Bush has replaced the bill of rights and the "American Dream" with this philosophy and "moral standards." Here are your 25 new commandments courtesy of Duh-bya and his regime.
1. Being a drug addict is a moral failing and a crime, unless you are millionaire conservative radio jock, which makes it an "illness" and needs our prayers for your "recovery".
2. You have to believe that those privileged from birth achieve success all on their own.
3. You have to believe that the US should get out of the UN, and that our highest national priority is enforcing UN resolutions against Iraq.
4. You have to believe that government should stay out of people's lives but it needs to punish anyone caught having private sex with the "wrong" gender.
5. You have to believe that pollution is ok, so long as it makes a profit.
6. You have to believe in prayer in schools, as long as you don't pray to Allah or Buddha.
7. "Standing Tall for America" means firing your workers and moving their jobs to India.
8. You have to believe that a woman cannot be trusted with decisions about her own body, but that large multi-national corporations can make decisions affecting all mankind with no regulation whatsoever.
9. You have to believe that you love Jesus and Jesus loves you, and that Jesus shares your hatred of AIDS victims, homosexuals, and Hillary Clinton.
10. You hate the ACLU for representing convicted felons, but they owed it to the country to bail out Oliver North.
11. You have to believe that the best way to encourage military morale is to praise the troops overseas while cutting their VA benefits.
12. You believe that group sex and drug use are degenerate sins that can only be purged by running for governor of California as a Republican.
13. You have to believe it is wise to keep condoms out of schools, because we all know if teenagers don't have condoms they won't have sex.
14. You have to believe that the best way to fight terrorism is to alienate our allies and then demand their cooperation and money.
15. You have to believe that government medicine is wrong and that HMO's and insurance companies only have your best interests at heart.
16. You have to believe that providing health care to all Iraqis is sound government policy but providing health care to all Americans is socialism personified.
17. You believe that tobacco's link to cancer and global warming are "junk science", but Creationism should be taught in schools.
18. You have to believe that waging war with no exit strategy was wrong in Vietnam but right in Iraq.
19. You have to believe that Saddam was a good guy when Reagan armed him, a bad guy when Bush's daddy made war on him, a good guy when Cheney was doing business with him, and a bad guy when Bush needed a "we can't find Bin Laden" diversion.
20. You believe that government should restrict itself to just the powers named in the Constitution, which includes banning gay marriages and censoring the internet.
21. You have to believe that the public has a right to know about the adulterous affairs of Democrats, while those of Republicans are a "private matter".
22. You have to believe that the public has a right to know about Hillary's cattle trades but that Bush was right to censor those 28 pages from the Congressional 9/11 report because you just can't handle the truth.
23. You support state rights, which means Ashcroft telling states what locally passed voter initiatives he will allow them to have.
24. You have to believe that what Clinton did in the 1960's is of vital national interest but what Bush did decades later is "stale news" and "irrelevant".
25. You have to believe that trade with Cuba is wrong because it is communist, but trading with China and Vietnam is good business.

Terrorist Threats?
-Islamic Terrorism started in Colorado in the 1940's, GWB wasn't president yet.
Patriot Act?
-Has not effected me adversly
Impoverished Middle Class?
-2 cars, 2 or 3 bedroom house, 2 weeks paid vacation, food, utilities, thousands of dollars of disposable income every year for entertainment etc. Yeah I'd say that is the definition of impoverished.
Incessant Wars?
-War is not something anyone wants, but is sometimes necessary. Besides, according to Libs, there is no war, so this and the next question are irrelevent in your mind. Why did you even ask?
More Wars?
-See previous answer
Out of control Immigration?
-You are correct on this one, illegal immigration started in January, 2000. Before Bush, Illegals did not exist. (sarcasm)
Overbearing Corporates?
-The corporate scandals I think you are referring to started in the 1990's and were discovered and prosecuted by Bush's justice department. If you are just upset with corporations in general, I would ask you who employs the people you seem to care about so much and what drives our economy, benefiting everyone?
More Wars?
-Already answered
Bill of Rights? Just a piece of paper.
-You need to be more specific. Has the Bill of Rights been removed from the constitution? If so, that's an outrage.
9/11?
- This is not a question.

There are plenty of good things.
Terrorist Threats? This has been around since the 70's
Patriot Act? No attack on American Soil in 5 years, despite being the number one target.
Impoverished Middle Class? Great job market, better jobs available.
Incessant Wars? Wars take longer when you are not fighting a country, you are fighting a ideology
More Wars? Only if Iran or N. Korea does something first
Out of control Immigration? This is a problem. We need more legal and No illegal.
Overbearing Corporates? Great job market out there. As a recent graduate, there were very few who didn't find well paying jobs.
Bill of Rights? We still have them all as far as I can tell
9/11? A wake up call that we need to actively fight terrorism abroad because they will attack us here if they can. I dont' think any president would have forseen this or been able ot stop it. clinton probably had the best shot to take out Osama back during his presidency

I can't believe what I'm reading here. People actually justify Bush's actions...
Terrorist threats... how come they didn't become so imminent until Bush came into office?
Patriot Act... no attack in 5 yrs... no attack since the country was founded either!!!
Impoverished Middle Class... great economy, better jobs available... unemployment is down b/c there is a limit on how much unemployment you can collect... great economy w/ better jobs, although jobs are frequently shipped out of the country... the fed raised interest rates so much that there is a fear of recession... health care going up constantly, w/ social security almost a thing of the past
Not necessary wars... we may be fighting an ideology... too bad we don't know who to attack and how in order to succeed...
Man... I'm tired of writing this
I'll get depressed if I continue
The first four years were bad enough. Now, Americans proved to the whole their mass idiocy by voting him in again, this time w/o any controversy... I'm not waiting for 2008... I'm going to be screwed over big time whenever it comes.

No but liberal democrats will tax it into extinction if they get a chance. And how has this list of crap that you give land all at GWB doorstep. The libs are the ones saying the Constitions is a living document, in other words they can intrepret it as they see fit and but conservativeas can't. and Corporastions have been overbearing for 50 yrs. And most of the recent terror acts are a direct result of Clintons' inablility to respond properly to Al quida and others during his time in office makeing Muslims believe the US was a paper tiger and embolding them to attack us. Clinton oversaw the passing of no less than 5 separate amnesty provisions to illegal immigrants dyuring hir administrattion thereby contributing to the lowering of the middle class and encouraging more illegal mmigration. Look it up sometime instead of watch CNN and network news and listening to NPR.

You must be the life of the party among your gloom and doom liberal friends! Terrorism isn't something that just happened, the Patriot Act was enacted to protect us. I am a member of the middle class and would prefer that you speak for yourself please, I am fine. This country has always fought wars, and these are legitimate wars, immigration has been a problem forever. As far as the Bill of Rights, I see it hasn't stopped people like you from leveling unfounded charges against whomever you don't like this week. I am sure you also believe the 911 Conspiracy Theories, if so you are hopeless. I would suggest that you find something to do that makes you smile, maybe you can find a reason to live!

It's gotten so bad that, for myself, it would be more merciful if it was a dying nightmare.
It took everything I had just to get through the first four years of this buffoon. There's nothing left of me now. I feel like one of those zombies in the movies.
It wouldn't hurt nearly as bad if I didn't love this Country so much.
Did you ever see that "Pet Semetary" movie or read the book by Stephen King? Where something you love very much dies, so you bury it in the Pet "Semetary" and it comes back all evil and vile and murderous and hideous?
That's what Bush did to this Country. And he's got two more years of sacrilege and blasphemy to go.

I can't hold him solely responsible for all of that. Don't forget he was elected twice, which means the majority of people have chosen him to rule for 4 more years.
The people are the ones to blame, the fact that they refuse to overcome their fear and to see the world through the worlds eyes is what changing the American dream into a nightmare.
We have to stop thinking that we are the greatest nation on Earth and ignore the rest of the world. This country was created by immigrants from all around the world, yet we refuse to identify ourselves with it.

Yes, as these things have become more visible during his presidency. But also it didn't happen overnight, so probably things did start a while back, before he became president...i admit, must be a tough job to call the ropes if so many things need to be considered, but it should have been done more for the nation, and less for a agenda to find a black sheep for the inability to change more domestic problems....hm...yeah
