Boy George stated a month ago that's why he didn't want to do it, and said to the court and the new york criminal service to do something useful!
The press coverage is not good for him or anybody else and should have done talks in community groups or schools on music, homosexuality or loads of things!

Yeah, I saw it. So what? I don't think it's any different than us having to do sanitation duties for community service, other than we woudn't have the press making us feel worse for it. Give the guy a break.

i dont think of he ought to do community service besides-- what lesson is he going to examine via raking leaves or dumping trash?? i think of it would be wiser to have him do a charity stay overall performance and characteristic the proceeds circulate in direction of helping human beings get off drugs--- yet whilst i had my say- i might sentence him to community service at my living house and characteristic him carry out each music he has written on a similar time as doing a striptease. YUMMY!

Yes. And I think it is terrible that the press is giving it so much coverage. There are much more important things in the world that the press should be reporting not how boy george looked cleaning streets.

They had a nice picture of him sweeping on the front page of one of those free papers in Dublin, the Metro or the Herald AM I'm not sure which, funny stuff though!

Personally with all the press he got,he was better doing 5 days in jail instead of the humiliation he was subjected to cleaning garbage.

Yeah i got a good laugh when i saw the pic of him in the Sun today with all the photographers round him! He looked really pissed off in his uniform, but very smart!
