Well i think this is great that you have tied to do so much to clean the house so that your girl friend will have a break when she is off work.. but if she is looking around for stuff that you missed she isn't appreciating you for what you have tried to do.. sounds as if you have done a great job.. if you have missed something she has three weeks to do it ..wish my man would do something like that for me.... like i said you did a great job
ceiling fans ?
don't worry you have done great.

It sounds like you covered the important stuff, to be honest whatever you do there will be something youve missed because everyone values the importance of some things over another. When she comes home why dont you say 'i have tried to do everything but tell me what i have missed and i will do it now' she will appreciate that you have tried. What a lovely bloke you are. Did you clean the fridge? Empty and clean out the bins? What about tidy cupboards and drawers? Why not get some fresh flowers and put them around the house? I love it when my hubby adds the extra touch (not that he cleans very often, are you available for hire?!) I hope shes pleased x

That is so nice to clean the house while she works so you two can have more time together. Make sure the trash is out and the fridge is clean and wipe off the big spots in the oven. Descaling the kettle or coffeepot is a good idea too. But if she picks at your work just say that you wanted to surprise her and you think it looks nice and it is just more time you get to spend with her.

Do you have any more at home like you ? I think your girlfriend is very lucky to have you . Not many guys would stay home and watch someone else's kids while they weren't working along with cleaning the house . You have done just fine and I'm sure she appreciates your help .

Wow, you sound like a nice guy doing all these things and also that you've asked us if there's anything you've missed. You're girlfriend is lucky to have someone as nice and kind as you and shouldn't be picking the things that you've missed. I'd feel like i'd won the lottery if i could get my boyfriend to pick up his rancid socks and underpants off the floor just once. I think you've done everything, so don't worry!

When she criticizes anything make a note of it. If you have to, keep a journal. When you have a very big job like cleaning an entire house, you have to have a list or something will get left out. If you have cleaned everything and she is still critical, then tell her, “If you don’t like the way I do it, do it yourself!”

She sounds like a detail person; look at the small things now you have done the main cleaning. I usually have to almost do a job twice, to get it really good.

Are all the drawers and cupboards organised and tidy?
Also, are pots and things cleaned and toys put away in a corner?
I don't think she should really pick out things that you have done wrong if you are trying.

Aww, that's sweet!
I think the fact that you've done all that would probably impress her no ends. The only other thing I could think of would be to treat her to a romantic dinner tonight. Just a thought.
