i heard on paul harvey that they bought 800 cellphones from wal-mart and was planing to blow up the macinack bridge

Whenever I hear a story like this, I can't help but think of that liberal icon, Michael Moore, and the video clip I've seen of him stating emphatically, "There is no terrorist threat."

It's possible the media haven't made a bigger deal out of this for the same reason they won't show replays of 9/11 footage; because they don't want to upset us.
Sorry, but I don't buy the notion that "well, nothing happened, so there's no story." The fact that there was something going on means there IS a story there, as it likely was not an isolated incident and rather was part of a larger movement.

I think they were up to something. But the FBI yesterday said they were innocent and nothing to do with terrorism. I guess they fell for the story of the buying the phones to sell for one of thier college tuition! If they have the money to buy 1000 prepaid cell phones I think they can pay for college!
