Well, I have a plan to enroll on Tourism course in the Philippines ( and im from Davao) but what is/are the Major subject to take in? aside basic basic subject pls.

One can add that that Filipino is almost the same as Tagalog: this language comes from the region of Manila down to Batangas and has been chosen in 1937 as a basis of the national language of the Philippines. Spanish has almost completely disappeared in the Philippines but Tagalog contains a number of spanish-derived words: "ang guwapo sumbrero sa kotse" means "el guapo sombrero en la coche". English is very widely spoken as a second language. People often speak a mixture of Tagalog and English which they call "taglish". Hiligaynon is also known as Illongo and is spoken in the Visayas (Paney and western Neg.ros).

That's what course counsellors are for, hijo. It would be pointless to answer your question without knowing which University you plan to enroll in because it may not offer the courses I'd recommend.
Off the top of my head, I'd would load up on liberal arts and language electives. Take some economics courses while you're at it and if possible, try out an introductory course on international law.
