Philly should challenge this year - they still have the core of the team that went to the Super Bowl 2 years ago - but they may be in the toughest division in football. The Giants, Cowboys & Redskins have been building teams to beat the Eagles for the past 6 years. If Jim Johnson can come up with a couple of new defensive wrinkles and succeed in his philosophy of making the opposing qb play worse than McNabb the Eagles might just make it back to the big game in the next few years.

No. protection gained't play with the same intensity w/o JJ. lost MLB Stuart for the season, lost the middle of the D in Dawkins. attempting to construct a team off of different communities vets because the Redskins tried, doesnt artwork. The Eagles will discover out the not person-friendly way this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days with a bottom 15 D. The Offense wont have issues, yet Desean Jackson nevertheless performs stupid, and Kevin Curtis is harm companies. they have an rather good offensive line, yet no intensity. Mcnaab is a good QB yet doesnt carry out beautifully less than pressure. 9-7 no playoffs.

I think they will do decent.
The key to the Eagles success is STAYING HEALTHY. If they are able to achieve this goal, they will go far.
Another key is how well their receiving corps plays. The Eagles are a pass first, run later, offense so if they are never able to get the pass game going, they will have a lot of trouble.
I love the Philly D. Sheldon Brown, Lito Sheppard, Brian Dawkins and Michael Lewis, best Secondary in the game.

The Eagles will be fine this year alot of people are looking at last year and now they lost TO and think they will still be a last place team. For all you people who think the Eagles will not be good ansewer me this what would your team be like if they lost there QB, RB both starting WR 2 lineman, your K your P half of your D-line and a pro-bowl CB. People seem to forget this. Plus they have Hank Baskett or HB as I like to call him TO who?

Eagles will be 3rd in their division if Portis stays healthy all year for the Skins. If not, 2nd place is realistic. They will e 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

Hard to say, no depth at running back, but McNabb has sure looked sharp so far. That's a plus. I think they are capable of a 10-6 season, but so is every other NFC East team. It's all a matter of who wants it more.
