hypnosis is not some hyper bizarre, alien ,malignant practice involving great masters foisting their obscene agendas on some otherwise unwilling gorgeous blonde "subject". it's a process which involves allowing someone (OR doing it yourself) to assist you to attain an altered state of consciousness which is quite relaxing---probably involving low alpha or high theta, frequency wise. there are a number of resources online, etc. which provide info regarding the techniques for doing this. once in the altered state numerous benefits can be obtained, the least of which is balancing and relaxing the person at many levels. and, no, it's not the work of the devil :-) i have practiced with self hypnosis and it works fine. it's alot like meditation, and works in that same range of frequencies. a difference is that with hypnosis, once the appropriate state has been reached, additional techniques are used for such things as "past life regression", reprogramming unhealthy habits, etc. used properly it's a very helpful tool.

No. It will work in a certain condition.
How hypnotise works? Person who follow the hynotise instruction, can be easilly hynotised. So how to refuse all instruction? Easily, not hearing what he say, counter attack the instruction.
Does it work? It depends to the object condition, mental strength.

I would suggest that you read "Hypnotism" by LW de Laurence.

It was written in 1900, but is the most definitive book on hypnotism and how to use it.
Do Not trusT anyone that says they can hypnotise you until you have read this book.
