I am a resident of San Francisco, California, and it is also Tuesday here...but three hours earlier than in Virginia. Mom's kid brother lived in Richmond, Virginia until he died of lung cancer in 1998. Mom lives in Kentucky, and her oldest sister lived in New York City until she died in 2003. My oldest sister lives in Houston in Texas. My kid sister lives in Kentucky about thirty miles from Mom. I must keep track of time zones if I call relatives.
