i am talking about the wooden photo frames. those frames that people always use to display their photos indoors,both hanging and standing.but i am not that sure how to make one.

You really need special woodworking tools for this - your corners must be mitred (cut to make a perfect 90 degrees) then glued and stapled to make the corner strong.
You also need to cut a quarter-inch edge or lip (dado) with a router on the inside of the frame for the glass to fit into.

Not sure if you're talking about wooden ones or not but you can make frames from nearly anything. A beautiful greeting card, gift wrap, magazine cover....anything that suits your type of picture you're wanting to frame. You can apply these papers onto an existing frame and you're set to go! And they will definitely be one of a kind! Good Luck!
