I'm after a piece of artificial grass of 4m x 4.5 m as a children's play area, to be layed on a bed of gravel and sand. Can anyone suggest the best option to use and where to buy?

Thanks

I wouldn't. It will cause friction burns if kiddies fall on it.I would use the same stuff councils put on their playgrounds. It's like tarmac but soft.

Most home improvement stores (ie Home Depot, Lowes) will have that available. It'll be in the carpet section.

Garden centres often stock astroturf type floor coverings, they will be able to advise you fully

Depends where you live....
I have never seen it at Home deport in Canada, for example.
But people who supply artificial putting greens have it.
