Offensive expressions are short cuts in writing. When used correctly, they can covey meaning better than any thing else. I do see your point when offensive expressions are used for no reason that I can understand, but perhaps the point was made, I just didn't get it.

It depends on how much. I don't know. It makes me sad that there are a bunch of kids on here and what they are reading. I am older and can and will skip over a lot of the "crap" but they, on the other hand, will tend to read it first on purpose......I guess the problem is -- I believe in freedom of speech; yet, I would never say certain things to an adult around a child either -- that is just my personal belief. Also, kids can go on line just about anywhere and see a lot of this stuff too. I'd give it a lot of thought before I decided.

Nope. I don't like offensive expressions but I do like the free-for-all nature of this site. If it became more crap than interesting comments, then I'd change my mind. You do have to have some thick skin here, but it's fun.

Offensive expressions are not short cuts in writing. They merely depict the lack of intelligent application toward society's manners or morals.
Words mean things and there are consequences thereof. I would support such a measure.
