I like them both, especially when Jon giggles or Stephen messes up & has to recover.

On his best days, John edges Stephen out. John's got the straight-face snark down better than Stephen does. But Stephen is more solid. John has hit and miss days and Colbert is just pretty solid across the board. So: On a good day, John. On a bad day: Stephen. Although just about every The Word on the Report is hilarious.

I think they should be together -- they do great together. I HAVE to watch those two shows 4 nights a week or I feel I'm missing out on something. I laugh at both but I can honestly say Stephen Colbert has almost made me pee my pants laughing so hard so......no offense, Joh, but I think I have to pick Stephen.

Jon Stewert, Stephen Colbert has always annoyed me. Even when he was on the Daily Show I didn't like him.

Colbert
The Daily Show, has gone to far to the democratic side of the political battle, Maybe his show will get better when the Democrats take back the congress.
Colbert show is a perfect rip off of Big Papa O'Reilly 's show.

Oh my god - it's like choosing between invisible children! * my head explode* You gotta love T.D.S. for it's amazing journey through U.S. politics, with precision jabs at the system's...let's say - embarassing points. SOMEONE has to do it, and thank god Jon Stewart and Ben Karlin (exec. producer) did!

But you must give it up for Stephen's amazing character work on T.C.R. He more than perfectly resembles the idiots we see on channels like FOX.

(I've been to both tapings - they were awesome beyond belief...)
