Since he is the best player in american soccer i just wondering if he could play against the better players in europe.

he's not the best american soccer player, he's overrated. there are plenty of other americans who can top him. and no he could not be a top player in european soccer. he was already in europe for some german team and was not that good.

Donovan is a good player, but not a major player in europe he's not.

Yea he could PLAY against the best players in europe, but he would never get anywhere himself...

I don't know what happened to him. When he came up, he looked like he was going to be a very good player.Lately, he looks mediocre at best. I hope he can improve and fulfill his promise.
