I believe a pet hamster lives about 3-4 years ... I had a few of them and they were well taken care of and thats how long they lived for me......hope this helps

I'm not sure the correct answer to this but with experience I believe hamsters live as long as you take good care of them. If it is neglected, it will die quickly.

depends i had 1 that escaped and went for a swim in washing up bowl didnt make it out and drowned, bless his little heart.

my daughter had one for a little over 2 years most will die of tumors ,, sad but true ,,
