Humistat sensor bypass?

Question

I have a Kenmore Dehumidifier and want to know if i can bypass the humistat sensor mounted on the front of the unit, so i can see if the unit will start up, presently it wont even turn on. I have checked just about everything here. Thanks Jim

Yes, you can bypass it if you know which terminals to bypass. There should be a wiring diagram with the thing someplace and, if you can read, it, that will tell you the terminals you need to jumper. Be a little careful, jumpers aren't safe for amateurs.
