Definitely possible and should be a requirement.
If anyone says that it's not good or it hurts then they're too soft.
I wear what most would consider extreme heels all the time, To work, at home and out on the town. I wouldn't have it any other way. I work 8 hours a day in them and once you get used to it, You wonder why it took you so long in the first place.
Do your best!

Anything is possible. But not everything is practical. If your 4" heels are the right size and are comfortable, sure you can do it. I keep my higher than 4" heels for going out, but that's my own prefrence.
If you do a lot of walking at work, I would say keep to 3" and below. Just because it's easier on your feet. Also, I don't think platforms would be viewed as professional in the work place. Would seem kind of 'slutty' in my humble of humblest opinions. ;-)
At the end of the day, it's your feet, your presentation of yourself, wear what you feel is the best for your image. It's completely up to you. As far as I know there are no laws regarding heel height - enjoy your shoes!

That depends on what kind of a job you have. But heels that are higher than 4", or even higher than 3", tend to be uncomfortable - not to say unhealthy. Therefore, I stick to wearing those at night when I go out or on special occasions. I do wear some kind of heels all the time though (unless I'm working out).

Well i guess if your work has you sitting more that walking you could get away with that since i did work with a lady who always wore 4" heels but she say 75% of the time. I would say that you should lower your heel if your on your feet more.

Its possible. The question is - how comfortable would you be? If you have a job that requires spending a lot of time on your feet, or you have to walk around a lot, you might want to skip the ultra high heels, or save it for special work functions.

Yes, I do it every day. All my heels are 4" to 5.5". In fact, I get a sharp pain from my calves down to my heels if I try to go much lower than about 4".

It wouldn't be possible for me! I have some that are 3" and 4", and I have tried wearing them to work...I usually go home and change shoes after a few hours.

Why not just go for the 10" heals? Your not tall enough with 6". And don't forget to paint your face.

Hey, if your job involves a lot of time on your toes that seems like a heck of an exercise program?

I'd say it all depends on what you do for work.
