why does rbi(reserve bank of india) does not provide more license to foreing companies?

Nothing wrong with HSBC Credit Card, it works, it is working very well in India. I am one of the users for years now..

There must be something wrong with your card itself or with the merchant with whom you tried your card.

Regarding RBI, I think you should leave there as it is. They have to see the things as a whole and in the national interests, and not cater to any individual's requirements. Granting more licences or not is a national policy and they are far more better judge of the situation than any individual. You will do well to question those foreign companies and their governments why are they going back from their agreed terms of business and just try to bully India every now and then? Is it a business like proposition?!

Basically India was on Globalisation plan but left parties are not accepting. HSBC was not indian bank its (Honkong Shangai Banking Corp) Its head quarters at Hong Kong. It is fully computerised
