This question is most probably impossible to answer. Where did the people of Stonehenge come from? Where did they go after the Celtic influence? What happened to the Celts after the Angles and Saxon invasions. What of the Viking invasions, the Normans, and Brittany? What region of Germany? These places have undergone so much influence it is ridiculous to think of them as a definable "race", culture yes but "race" no. As it is today it may be impossible to be able to tell the difference between someone from England or Germany by there appearance. Or a caucasian from North America or Australia for that matter.

There is too much variation among the scandinavians (aka nordics) for there to be a very useful description of what 'nordic' looks like. You must specify specific traits.

By the way, respondent #2 is wrong about the origin of the celts. The first celtic speakers were from the northern alps. They spread north and west from there.

I do not know the exact fact, but according to Nazi's ( Hitler to be moe specific ), the English are more Nordic than the Germans, if you read Hitler's Germany, you can see that he was trying desperately hard in propagating Aryan Superiority in England and in one speech he said " I do not want to murder the Pure Nordic's " referring to the Englsih, and in another speech he cited " why don't you understand, Im doing this for your benefit", so I assume that no, the English are more Nordic-looking. Do not forget, the Nords look similar to the Celts i.e in having coloured eye's and blonde hair, guess where the Celts originated, yup, in Merry old England.

Nordic means Northerly or North which are the countries Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and Finland. Maybe at one point some families may have intermixed with the north part of Europe and settled in Germany. English are too small.

Yes, actually, Germans are more nordic looking. And, their language is MUCH more like the nordic languages, so I suspect they have similar geneology way far back.
