Very, very boring. Rhythm is like a spastic tortoise. Standard navel-contemplating stuff with really awful guitar playing. Where the lyrics are discernible they are less inspired than the stuff you find on the back of bus tickets. Images are self-promoting, repetitive panning and zooming on b/w stills and bear no relation to the 'song'.
Mates are mates, I understand that and I'm truly sorry to have to be so damning, but tell him to listen to some GOOD music, learn to play the guitar a little and to think what life might be like for OTHER people ... and don't give up the day job.
Alcoholic and drug-induced moods can only work if you are a brilliant musician and good lyricist anyway (and tend to drag things down a bit then - but that's another story.)

I dont know why other people think its crap i love it.
Tell ur mates to keep on doing whatever they are doing and theyll get somewhere one day. The only thing is the song is a little bit tooooooo long otherwise fantastic!

I think that it is fundamentally very good - better then a lot of established stuff. Do pick up a bit of a pink floyd influence and needs just a bit of fine tidying, otherwise would be interested to hear more songs of theirs.
