Go to nearby town, sit in cafe, park or whatever, and try and log onto any wireless connection, chances are that someone won't have one thats protected. Not sure how to get into neighbours, through it prob can be done. thou it is illegal and i don't recommend it- apart from being unethical, getting catch won't be fun!

My neighbour only uses the net to get his email, if he asked nicely - I might put my encryption key on a memory stick for him and give him access as long as he didn't use my bandwidth when I needed it. But although I connect every day to the 400 Mbs connection at the local school - it's encrypted. Thy can't get data from my computer - I can't get stuff from theirs. Some idiots do set up their own unencrypted systems however. They can be connected to fairly easily. XP has a wizard that will connect to most systems.

Ask them nice and offer to pay some and they may share and give you the password.

Otherwise there is no way and it is ILLEGAL.
And because they know how to secure it they most likely know how to monitor it and will know when your on and could report you. It has happened many times before and thoes offenders are spending time in court and jail.

You can't!! It's illegal and unethical. Ask your neighbour for the network key if he/she is kind enough to share.

You cant, get your own, you can only 'get on it' if you ask them! but then they might say no! don't try anything without telling them you could get in alot of trouble! :D
