No. I've been told I can sing, but if I wanted to be famous for singing, I'd rather do it the real, hard way, from the bottom, with a band who perform self-written songs so that I would earn respect in the music business and not be a manufactured y-list celebrity. (BB "celebs" are z-list)

No, the show is so lame... Australian idol is the only good reality show as far as im concerned... the x factor is so lame!! i mean, where are the finalists now?? where is "random" now? the judges are so easy on everyone too... on all the finalists. every comment is the same. "You were amazing... you really entertained..." ... but one talent show worse is popstars... i mean WHERE'S kayne taylor??? one single and THATS IT!! and miranda murphy, the runnerup? One single!!.. at least random has an album... i think... haha. At least Australian Idol brings out some successful artists, selling thousands of CD copies. (I think Shannon Noll is platinum or something...). Well anyway thats just my opinion!! If you want to audition for the x factor... heres my advice, go to australian idol instead!! at least theres a little chance you'll become famous.......
