When history is protecting his tomb, why should you and I worry? Millions and millions of people in the world are living under the mercy of cruel jaws of international terrorism..Think about their safety and see that this beautiful world continue to exist peacefully. These helpless souls are asking to protect their lives not their tombs. There are thousands and thousands of Humayuns among them. They are asking for opportunities to show what they can do that Humayun couldn't. Friend, get your personality elevated. You can become great too. Good luck!

A good question, Edward. No, they weren't anticipating His resurrection. Among other traditions, it was a normal part of the Middle Eastern burial rituals that the family of the deceased would.need access to the body of their loved one. Initially, they would need to periodically reapply ointments to the body and the clothes it was wrapped in mummy-like (which is the reason that the women had gone to the tomb Easter morning) and after a year to put the person's bones into a stone box. . All tombs were constructed so that the stone could be moved away (also see the story about Lazarus when Jesus raised him from the dead). . The stones were rounded, set in trenches, so that people could get in, not with the idea that people would get out. . If you are interested in researching this topic further, there are newer archaeological reports and films that explain ancient Middle Eastern burial traditions ..... channels like National Geographic, the Science Channel, and so on. They are VERY fascinating and enlightening about the things that the Bible talks about. . I hope that answers your question, Edward. It is an excellent question !!!!! T
