Half of FIVE is really four! No, really! Look at this:
In the word FIVE, notice that all were capitals. Next, there are 4 letters, and half of that is...2. Look at the word carefully, and notice that the middle TWO letters have an equivalent value in Roman numerals as 4! IV is equal to 4! so half of FIVE is really equal to 4! (Take note that if you ever want to ask somebody verbally this brain teaser again, you can't expect him to give you the correct answer since the trick here is in the writing itself.)

Well, my work here is done.

half of FIVE is 4
five consists of 4 letters

F - IV - E = F - 4 (in roman numerals) - E

remove the other 2 letters F and E u'll get the remaining 2 letters which is IV and in roman numerals it is #4

F I V E
Take the middle 2 alphabets out of the total of 4 alphabets (half of "FIVE")
IV (in roman numerals) = 4

You want me to prove that
5/2 = 4?

Let us start:
Let
x = 1

thus
x = 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · 1 · .......

Thus(again)
x = 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · 4/4 · .....

Thus(again) (again)
x = 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · .

Thus(again) (again) (again)
x = 4 (4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · 1/4 · 4 · ....... )

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again)
x = 4 (x)

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again) (again) since x = 1,
1 = 4(1)

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again)
1 = 4

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again)
1 + 4 = 4 + 4

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again)
(again)
5 = 8

Thus(again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again) (again)
(again) (again)
5/2 = 8/2

Thus (again for the last time)
5/2 = 4

^_^

since half of five is not four when you do it you are making a mathematical blunder so when your teacher does it post it and i will find the blunder
