life/terrorist affecting the world/places of interest
current events /religion/school
work/a movie/a new song/plans for the future etc etc etc?
watch tv?
play a board/card game?
make your friend a nice meal?
write a list of things you each like about your friend
etc etc etc
IF YOU DONT LIKE HIM
call up another friend and chat the whole time
get something and start reading
listen to music with your headphone
ignore him
etc etc
IF YOU FANCY HIM
...never allow yourselves to be alone ..ever
make an excuse to leave
..if all else fails then RUN.

just talk about, what makes him/her like your best friend, and whatever they want to talk about. don't do anything with him/her even if they try to, it could all be a trick then they will tell their bf/gf whats been going on then you will loose you best friend forever over one silly mistake that you should have known will get you in that type of mess! :D hope that helps email me if you need more advice :D
