Well condoms can help prevent STDs and birth control can prevent at least 99% of pregnancies, coupled with condoms it's still no better, condoms can and do break, birth control pills can and do fail. If you truly don't want to take chances, don't have sex.

i have a friend who believed she was sterile, she had been married for 8 years with no birth control. She re-married and within the first year she was pregers. She went on the pill and barely a year later delivered her second son. She was on the pill and her hubby wore condoms a little over a year later she had her three sons. After the birth of the third child she got her tubes cut, burned and tied. Honey if God intends you to have a baby at this point in your life you will have a baby unless you abstain. There are reports of failed abortions as well as successful ones.

If you are on the pill are birth control, the chances of you gettin pregnant are pretty close to 0. The pill is already pretty effective if taken right and with a condom as a protective barrior, you almost can't go wrong!

That combination is most recommended as "safe", or at least as safe as you can get while still having intercourse. The pill will stop you from getting pregnant but condoms are best for preventing STDs. Good for you to be cautious and careful!

It is more safe and a good way to prevent pregnancy. Also make sure you both get tested periodically for STDs. Good job on being smart and using methods to protect against pregnancy.

So far so good. That's very responsible of you. I'll tell you what I told my daughter..."Please don't just give it away" and teenage boys will tell you ANYTHING to get in your pants.
A reminder...a friend's daughter got into being sexual..now she has vaginal warts(possible cancer from this virus)...FOREVER. Don't say that won't happen to me cause she didn't think she would get anything either.....
