Know that, He reveals himself only to a chosen few, those who are worthy and willing to seriously charter the unchartered path of spiritual growth, those who are not on the path will by design disbelieve Him. Because it is He who decides who gets to believe or disbelieve, we just have to become worthy of his presence and guidance, we dont get to choose a guide, a guru chooses his disciple. And when the disciple is ready the master reveals himself on his own, so dont bother about convincing other people it is not your task, just follow what you have received so generously, and will continue to do so as long as you stay humble and dedicated to the path you have chosen and devoted yourself to.
A vast majority is open to believe and use his teachings to further their life journeys.
The reason most ascended masters are mysteriously absent from the physical realm is that they only want a true seeker to receive them as a spiritguide. Those who are not really serious about spiritual growth will anyway be dissuaded by this inexplicable state of affairs, so don't bother whether the world knows about him or not, just follow the gems you have been revealed to.
Since you seem to be blessed by his presence, rejoice in that and let him decide whom does he want to reveal himself to, next.

Yes. I have heard about him. I read about him with awe in Swami Yogananda's 'Autobiography of a Yogi'. Even his picture is published in his book. It is said that Baba is more than 5000 years old and is alive. In some web-site, it is mentioned that he was born as a brahmin near Palakkad, Kerala. He was taken as a slave, somewhere near Caddallore, Tamilnadu. From then on, he was taken to various places until he was bought over by some one and released at Bengal. That was real liberation to him. In the Himalayas, he practised tapas. He devised Kriya Yoga. Kriya Yoga was taught by him to Mahasaya and from him to his other disciples. The yogoda sat sang foundation founded by Swami yogananda is committed to teaching Kriya Yoga techniques, invented by Babaji. I am certain that Babaji is real. I have no reason to disbelieve Swami Yogananda. I advise you and others who have expressed cynicism about babaji to please read this book. Instead of being critical, let them learn kriya yoga and see for themselves , the efficacy of the practise.
