I assume your question was meant to ask who will win the world cup in 2007. I think at this stage, still over 6 months away, the teams withthe best current form are Australia, South Africa, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India are normally a very strong ODI team, but their poor showing in the West Indies recently would cast doubts over their fortunes next year.

Well obviously Australia being top ranked in Test cricket and One-day matches will be favourites to win. But SA is also a very good team wid Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka close behind. England and New Zealand are also not far. But the main competition will be between Australia, India and SA. All of them are good teams.
But i am wid Australia and Pakistan!

Australia have to be favourites, they are top ranked cricket nation in the world.
I put India 2nd favourites because on his day Dhoni and/or Sehwag can take a 1-day game out of reach of even Ponting and Lehman and co with fast scoring of a big innings.
Similarly, Jayawardene and Jayasuriya can do it for Sri Lanka but I wouldn't expect them to do it often enough to win the World Cup.

i think this time will be also the same story as 2003 world cup. The cup may be going to Australia again. I'm just telling. Other teams might show there power anytime.
South Africa has the most chance to win after australia. they must beat australia. If australia is knocked out before semi, then there's a good chance for other teams like SA, SRL, IND, WI, PAK to advance to the final....
i wish BANGALDESH could win...but i know......cannot....everyone knows....

South Africa or evn Aussie can win.........i dunt think so ab't India this time evn for semi's............coz whts the Indian team at present is not predictable...........evn many of the players mght dunt know who are going to play World cup........selectors and chappl have made a rough boring mesh,,,
