There is problem with your speakers. Get them checked at an authorised service centre. You might need to replace them. Did you play loud music for a long time or did you drop the laptop face down?
Dont worry. just get the system checked.

well u can send it to the makers if u still have its warranty
or u can buy new replacement speckers and if u do buy new speakers get something wit a sub cuz it seems u play ur music wit loud bass
or u can just go wit head phones

try to reinstall updated driver for sound card but it sounds like a speaker problem to me. try to replace it if the first suggestion doesnt work

Buy a set of external speakers and plug into the earphone jack...or if you have time have it repaired.

Dont get in trouble .
Just try to listen another sound. if not coming. then restart the m/c. and try to listen. if still problem persist then try to reinstall the driver of sound.
BUT IF STILL PROBLEM PERSIST. THEN I M AFRAID......

connect external speakets from your pc of borrow them temporaryly and then get it repaired
but first try reinstalling the driver
