The hangover is caused by the hypoglycemic and dehydrating effects of the alcohol. Try Gatorade, even Pedialyte, or some type of sports drink - any fluid to repair the dehydration. Most of those drinks are high in carbs too, so that will help with the low blood sugar.
Next time???? Put a HUGE glass of ice water next to your bed and drink it all during the night. Will be amazed at how much better you feel the next morning. Try it once, you'll not forget how much it helps.

A pint of orange squash, and a bacon sarnie. Then a nice brisk walk in the fresh air. Maybe even a run if you can hack it.
The fresh air helps bring you round to the land of the living, you'll produce more adrenaline, which provides a feel-good vibe, and your blood will be pumping faster which I guess may help it to be filtered better??
You'll feel rough as hell for the first 10 minutes of exercise (i.e. running or cycling) but after that you'll start to feel better ad better.
Finish it off with another pint of squash, and you'll be sorted... and keep drinking water throughout the day. I say squash because when used as a weak concentrate it creates an Isotonic, which will be absorbed by your body better than just water alone...

You need painkillers and re-hydration.
Painkillers -- Co-codamol (?sp) which is a paracetamol & codine mix and is available over the counter
re-hyrdation -- If you have re-hydration powder use that. If not drink a sugary drink (cola or whatever) and eat a bag of salty crisps (chips for those across the pond). I bag off crisps & a pint of fluid will do the trick.
Beyond that all you need is sleep.
PS remember it takes 1 hour of sleep/rest to get rid of 1 unit of alcohol and nothing can speed that up so think carefully if you should be driving ;-)

"*whispering the answer*hair of the dog" ( a little of what got you that way) then don't over do it again unless you are a glutton for punishment. Always in moderation, it is much more memorable and you won't have to wonder what you did the night before. Hope that helps shhhhh

Lots of water, painkiller of choice, bed with curtains drawn and do nothing. Get up a few hours later and have a full english breakfast and local caff. Then resolve never to do it again, and break it next weekend. You're only human after all. :)

Hang over is due to dehydration. You can prevent it from taking much water. Coffee perks up your mood, a common remedy but it is not a 100%.
