My son hit extremly hard my daughter. What will be a suitable enough punishment to make him not do it never again? He hit her in the past but this time was extra hard.

I would put him on a punishment! take away his favorite game, don't let him watch his favorite TV show, no desert.

I dont think there is a suitable punishment for hitting one another. If it were my boy, hell would freeze be4 he saw or done anything w/any of his friends. No offense but it sounds like u need to motoring what he's watching, playing, and the kids he hangs out w/, more than what u r.

I think he is jealous about your daughter and you need to get into the whole story how many times in the past and what reason that provokes him to act violent toward her. Now,you need to see where he has learned this kind of behavior from school, home or game and television.you and your wife have to be the example for him to follower. The child will learn from what he sees and any violent behavior you need to be careful and severe punishment is not going to work so I urge you to do more and if you need him to see the psychiatrist I urge you to do so.Early prevention will stop the worst to come.Remember that you catch the problem early and it will cure fast.Good luck

take t.v away from him and explain to him in detail what he did wrong if that does not work ground him with no TV or whatever he loves to do take it away and make sure to make it clear what he did and the consequences if he does it again punish him even harder and tell him the more you hit your sister the more punishment you will get each time it happens

Lose all electronics for a week. This includes tv, computer, battery games, etc. this is what I do for my son when I ground him and it is a very humbling experience for him. He will always think twice before doing it again. But you have to stick to it and don't cave after a few days

talk to him in a nice way. if he's a hard headed kid, then make a conversation to him that will make him realize his mistakes and never to do it again. u can tell him the effects of hitting someone, and the consequences that might happen. also, tell him that no one will befriend to u if they will know that you can make someone feel bad.
