Should I say: "I am better than last year"
or should I think "he is more developed than me"
If I compare my development with myself, I will always be happy.
If I compare my development with better persons than me, I will always be unhappy.
If I compare my development with people that are not so developed, I may be egoistic person!

An important question. We should understand that we are all different. Not even identical twins are the same. So we should not compare ourselves to others in terms of development. You are quite right in saying 'I am better than last year'.

If we are making an effort to develop a particular part of our personality, and are able to identify an improvement, then we are encouraged to continue.

I believe that the reason we were born is to evolve ourselves into the best person we can, so this is a very important subject. Thanks for the question.

Well, it depends from which point of view you are looking at life!
For example, when I talk, play, etc., I love it when I "loose", because this way, I can improve! If the surrounding people are "worse" than me, I will not have the opportunity to improve!
Thus, I disagree with the point of view you are presenting your question! Also, why to compare? Society is doing enough of it! Let us stay in ourselves and families, and friendly groups without comparisons, but efforts to be happy!

Never compare, for you will become bitter or vain. Be humble, be happy with what you have achieved. If compare, select those who achieved better and use them as a benchmark for bettering yourself.
