Um, the lesson Somalia taught the US in 1994 was that it was tactically possible for US soldiers armed only with small arms and light support arms, in a close urban terrain, to deliver 100-1 casualties to enemy forces. It was a lesson about how horrifically effective the modern armed soldier could be with high tech tactical support. I'm not aware of a more one-sided conflict in the history of warfare.
