1. Take Midol if that is the problem.
2. Wear lavender oil, it promotes calm and inner peace.
3. Perform a self-blessing ritual.
4. Call a friend and talk.
5. Spoil self (shopping, restaurant, movie, etc.)
6. Exercise.
...only 1 of these may do the trick, or I may have to try several.

there is always a reason for getting the blues - it may not be apparent at first, but if you seem to have the "blues" for no apparent reason and cant seem to shake it, then see a GP - you may be suffering from depression. A non medical way to deal with that is with some St Johns Wort - you can get it from the health food shop - but check with your GP first

I listen to some music that puts me in a good mood, call a friend and try to stay active and not just sit around by myself.

I put on Louis Armstrong's Wonderful World and sing along. The bad mood usually leaves me and passes on to my neighbours. They don't like my singing! hehe
