Let's see 3-5 hours per week paying $600-1200 a week comes to $200/hr. There's an old expression, "if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Yet, another expression, "There's a sucker born every minute" also comes into play. These solicitations for employment are a form of phishing. Were you by chance asked for personal information such as birthdate, social security number, mother's maiden name, etc??? Sometimes these bogus ads are not used for illegal activity but rather for compiling mailing lists and email spam lists. The problem is not knowing the difference. Don't be a victim either way!!!

Clearly a scam, there is no need of a person to process payments between a cliant and a company...... its all done direct, if you accept, the next thing they will want is your bank account details or to send you some huge cheque that will bounce all the way home.

I bet they want the transfers to go through your own bank account, sounds very much like a scam to me!

The other question I have for you, is have you placed your resume at Monster.com?
And is that the type of job you are looking for?

Treat anything suspicious as a scam, spam or no good. What they will eventually want is your bank account, NEVER give your bank account out online to anyone.

it sounds dodgy. ask for client information/recommendations. if they don't have an office somewhere you can go to, i wouldn't trust it. and be careful using monster.com because most of the places are actually temp services and will try to charge you to help you find a job.

As long as they don't ask for any personal info. such as bank account numbers, give it a shot!

It could only be a prank unless they wanted that kind of financial info. and who would bother?

Wait. I changed my mind. They want you to do the dirty work. Yup... it's rotten.

Obviously a scam. No one would employ anyone purely on the basis of CV.
