I think some can be, or a good number are in certain situations. And uite frankly, this is not necessarily a negative thing. One of the best adult friends I ever had was childlike in certain social or activity situations, almost playful -- and that was very becoming of him. His behavior was not non-masculine at all -- it opened up a lot of trust between us.

Some are. There is a distinct sub-group of gay men -- many of whom I've been or are now friends with -- that are more childlike. I can think of a dozen that are friends and I know others. I've never had sex with any of them -- though I must say, if anything was going to bring me out of monogamy -- a particular one of them would have, even though he didn't mean to.

Childlike, gentle, innocent, loving, sweet.

But don't be confused and think its all gay men, its only a small group -- but they are precious, and I wonder if more gay men wouldn't be like them in a more loving and accepting environment.

Thank you for the question. I love that type of gay people very much.

Kindest thoughts,

Reyn

Judging by the number of extremely immature homophobic straight males whose logic goes something along the lines of "lesbians are hot (they are not btw) and gay guys are grosss ewwww" mentality I would say it was the other way around wouldn't you? What could be more childlike than not being able to accept simple and harmless UNCHOSEN differences in others.

Childlike? Well sometimes we are. But every single man or woman would sometimes want to relive their happy childhood memories whatever they maybe. But I do agree that Gay men tend to enjoy life more as they have the options such as having or not to have children and other stuff. For straight couple , when they do not have children, the public automatically assumes issues such as infertility or career oriented...etc.

No... To me childlike is an adult that does not want to take responsibility for their own actions, and want to blame someone or everyone else for their problems or poor actions. There is alot of childlike adults in this world of ours that need to GROW UP.......

no, just opposite. straight men seem to be more childlike because of their double-standard homophobia. a lot of them are paranoid about gay men, but ok with lesbians.
don't flatter yourselves, guys...neither gay men nor lesbians want you!

It depends on the person, not their sexuality, what their personality is like.
