Australia matters in the South Pacific region. Ask the East Timorese or the Solomon Islanders when Australia came to their aid. We matter to terrorists too as we are targetted along with the US and Britain. When you guys get sick of being a target come and live downunder...we welcome you with open arms.

Strewth! If it weren't for Australia there would be no Fosters, no Holly Vallance, the bloddy Poms would win the Ashes all the time, etc.

Depends on the circumstances. I know it's a bit to warm there for em to be contenders in winter olympics, but they're pretty nice folks.

They matter to cricket and rugby, and they're pretty good at most other sports. They're even half-decent at football nowadays, lord knows why.
