There were 6 trips to the Moon: Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 17.
The first landed July 20, 1969. The last occurred in 1972. Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the Moon, Harrison Schmitt was the last.
The astronauts left retroreflecting mirrors on the surface of the Moon, which astronomers still use to reflect laser beams off the Moon to precisely measure the distance between the Earth and the Moon.
Do you also question the Space Shuttle flights, the existance of the Space Station, and the flights by Russian cosmonauts?

Even if there were 5 or 6 trips to moon, I wouldn't believe that. It is just so stupid. Why don't people believe that the trip to moon was faked? That is why the scientist didn't make another trip because they thought people would find out that they were faking it all.
First the thing is, when they landed on the moon (fake moon) there were no stars in the sky! I thought scientists couldn't be so stupid to not put fake stars there.
And other thing is, that when they put the flag in the moon, it was moving. It was supposed to be dropped right? but it was straight and was moving a little when there is supposed to be no wind on moon!

Huh? What are you talking about? Nasa sent nine manned missions to the Moon between 1968 and 1972. A total of 12 men walked on the lunar surface.

Wherever did you get the idea that they never tried again?

Have orbital mechanics replaced in 40 years? Or 4,000 years? The layout of Apollo orbits is contained in the medical literature and has been studied with the aid of two generations of next spacefarers. they don't seem to work out some thing incorrect with it. a tremendous variety of the Apollo orbital situations were partly precomputed with the aid of the CDC 6600 supercomputer at Lawrence Livermore, which had extra or less the computing ability of a Nineties Pentium. those partial intermediate recommendations were carried out as needed with the aid of IBM mainframes at project administration, and then the consequent maneuver orders despatched to the onboard laptop. present day astrodynamicists, laptop scientists, and engineers haven't any problem believing that Apollo become effectively navigated to the Moon, and countless books were written on the problem. Why is it that the persons who doubt this stuff can't reveal any understanding or skills that ought to as a rule be mandatory to pass that judgment? And on your rush to repeat the rumors, you've named the incorrect astronaut. Hoax author Ralph Rene tells the tale that Buzz Aldrin (no longer Armstrong) once became emotional and left a room at the same time as requested questions about his voyage. Rene has no end of interesting attempting to take a position why Aldrin did that: curiously he purely "couldn't take it" anymore. the problem is that Rene provides no information or information to verify that one of those incidence got here about.

Ummm, NASA went there 6 times. Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17.
What happened to 13? They had problems and had to abort the mission and return to earth...and Hollywood eventually made a movie about it.

why do it? What's the benefit of going there?

It costs an arm and a leg to go in space.. You don't go there just for sports. You go there to do something.

Now, bush wants us to go back there to learn how to survive in harsh environments and prepare for a trip to mars.

PS: we went there 6 times in total. the apollo missions 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 all landed on the moon safely.

Daily. George and I were having a lovely lunch together last week when the Greys came along in their latest 2007 model TimeWarp Travelcraft demanding our seats for the wonderful view of Galaxy Tarnia Sereiana. Everyone jumped into their aircraft and flew to Mars for a a gourmet spread at Red Rock Cafe.

There have been at least 4 landings on the moon. Go to the NASA website for details

well i think the idea of "meant to" or destiny isn't one we can answer or even pretend to know.

As for why we haven't made other trips to it, i think its because governments have surmised that it currently isn't worth the time or preparations to do so again. Simply put, the moon doesn't currently offer anything of value to us as a collective.

The initial drive to arrive at the moon was more about accomplishing a goal than to gain anything of monetary value.

It's like why do people climb mountains? merely for the accomplishment.

There was not only one trip, there were several. See the source below for all the details. If you think there was only one trip than you REALLY need to check out that source. It is very long so I don't expect you to read it all, but PLEASE, at least read enough to get the basic facts straight!
