All spiders don't have eyelids because their eyes are not complex. Some interesting facts about spiders' eyes:-
Spiders normally have eight eyes, but some spiders have six, four or two eyes. One unusual species has only one eye, which is in fact, a fusion of a pair of eyes. Ironically, the majority of spiders do not depend on their eyesight for finding and capturing prey. They have extremely poor eyesight.

Info on Spiders' Eyes
Spiders usually have eight eyes in various arrangements, a fact which is used to aid in taxonomically classifying different species. Most species of the Haplogynae have six eyes, although some have eight (Plectreuridae), four (eg., Tetrablemma) or even two (most Caponiidae) eyes. Sometimes one pair of eyes is better developed than the rest, or even, in some cave species, there are no eyes at all. Several families of hunting spiders, such as jumping spiders and wolf spiders, have fair to excellent vision. The main pair of eyes in jumping spiders even sees in colors. Net-casting spiders have enormous, compound lenses that give a wide field of view and gather available light very efficiently.
However, most spiders that lurk on flowers, webs, and other fixed locations waiting for prey tend to have very poor eyesight; instead they possess an extreme sensitivity to vibrations, which aids in prey capture. Vibration sensitive spiders can sense vibrations from such various mediums as the water surface, the soil or their silk threads. Also changes in the air pressure can be detected in the search for prey.

Spider eyes are static, they cant move and by scientific definition are rather primitve. They have no eyelids, or any cleanly means of cleaning them.
Their eyes are cleaned and repaired everytime them molt. This ecdysis, sheds the layer of skin over their eyes, and reveals a new fresh eye beneath.

what a weird question, why do you ask? is there one staring at you right now? has it been staring that long that you have actually started to wonder weather they can blink. i hate spiders i do, my boyfriend actually had to come out of work last week because there was a huge spider in our bedroom and it went behind the wardrobe, i made him move the furniture around until he found it, i looked up towards the curtain rail and there it was.... in all its glory...staring down at me, the spider then came to his death by hoover as i felt great relief watching it being cut to pieces by my Dyson.
