I'm in the UK and know someone who is selling a PSP for £165 with giga pack and 4 games (inc Tiger Woods Golf, Pro Evolution and GTA) in immaculate condition.

Is it worth it or are they rubbish consoles? I know the games are pricey too and that is a bit worrying.

Cheers!

Yeah it is second hand - an "unwanted gift"

£165 for a giga pack (£210 new) and games is a fantastic price.

The PSP is great, so good infact my wife just bought herself one to play Outrun and Eveybodys golf on.

As for the price to drop below £100, will not happen for a long time, there is a rumour it will drop by $50 in the states so expect it to fall here in the new year by about £20 but thats still more than your paying for an immaculate gigapack and games.

I say go for it. Those who say the PSP is rubbish either dont own one or just use it for games. The fact it does so much more you just need to use it to its fullest. If you just want games, get a DS (well, if you want lovely fluffy games which make you want to cuddle your DS like its a puppy then get a DS). If you want real games then the PSP is the one for you. My personal opinion is that the DS is a novelty item, like the eyetoy on the PS2. Its fun for a while but you eventually get bored of talking to your console while on the train or loosing the wand.

If you know and trust this person then go for it. I'm holding off from buying a PSP until the base unit price drops below £100. There are many people who don't think much of the games but I always buy 2nd hand or go for the bargain bin.

Well I don't have either a PSP or a DS but if it's prices that are on your mind, get a DS. But with a PSP you get better graphics, you can watch movies, listen to music and a host of other things....so it kinda makes sense for it's price to be high.

Considering the PSP itself was more expensive at launch, and you are getting great games with it, it's worth it if you like GTA, because that's the one that will last the longest.

2 years in the past, i'd were 8 gb, thats adequate for me. inspite of the undeniable fact that as time is going on you receive more and more songs and eight gigs will be to small. I merely were given into gazing videos on my pod and eight gigs is merely no longer adequate. As human we continually desire more effective so now you'll 8 gigs is adequate for me im in uncomplicated words going to have songs in there. a pair years down the line you going to discover videos and stuff that soak up reminiscence and your going to be apologetic about getting t he 8 gig. i'd perosnally bypass with the 32 of the 60.

If that is secondhand I'd leave it alone. You can get a new one for less.
Price compares well with a good PDA, which is what I'd get.
