To answer the second part of your question first. Muslim and Catholic believers do believe in the same god, who is sometimes referred to as the God of Abraham and is the very same guy Jewish people pray to. Judaism, Christianity and Islam share a common origin but over time each faith has chosen to give special significance to a different Prophet or holy man. Jews place emphasis on the Prophet Moses, Christians choose Jesus and Muslims follow Mohammed.
Many argue that because vast numbers of people all over the world believe in some kind of a god, this is strong evidence that there is a god. We all yearn for a belief and this need is placed in us by our creator? However Evolutionary Psychologists and Philosophers argue that humans have evolved to be very good attaching meanings to events that happen to them and around them. Stuff happens because others intend for it to happen. Which was a useful way to understand the world, living in a growing social group of people who do things on purpose! Although this way of thinking is evolutionarily useful for understanding our social environment it struggles when a tree falls over and squashes the guy from the cave next door or a bolt of lightening shoots out of the sky and cremates your auntie!!!!! Our genetic programming wants to make sense of these events in terms of intentional acts. In the absences of any scientific theory humans created God! About 150,000 years ago (I think that was the date of the emergence of modern humans when I went to school)!

Yes, there is a God. If there is none, the Jews will be long ago annihilated even before AD 70. I don't believe that Christians and Muslims worship the same God. But I do believe that Jews and Christians believed in the same God only Jews didn't believe in Jesus. If there is no God, what's the meaning of this godamn LIFE? Oops, I suppose in the previous sentence that God didn't exist so who's going to damn life?Just joking . By the way, I'm a Roman Catholic from Philippines.

Is there a God? This is just a matter of personal belief, no proof either way! (I don't believe)!
Muslims and Catholics (Catholics are Christians) have the same God, the main difference is that Christians believe that Jesus is also God , Muslims don't believe this (and as a matter of interest neither do any other religious groups) Muslims believe Jesus was a Prophet.
Christians have their own little thing going on about the Holy Trinity, it is the most unbelievable load of BS imaginable , look it up some time!

Any god depends on belief... if there is no belief, then that god does not exist.
If there if one supreme being, then Allah and the christian God, would both be facets of the greater whole.
Muslims and Catholics vary in opinion over whether their Gods are the same. Islam states that there is only one God - Allah. The basis of their opinion on the other religions tends to be that they aren't worshiping Allah correctly, and so they won't be accepted into paradise (or whatever). Ironically, it's much the same with Catholics, i think.

Yes God exists.
Nope, God and Allah are not the same.
You can only "know" God via His attributes. If, therefore, the professed attributes of God, Allah, Buddha, Shiva [or whatever] are different it follows that they cannot be the same "thing" at all.
Even if you were charitable enough to assume that they were ALL attributes of one Being, and that the different races, cultures etc just happened to pick up on different aspects of this one Being then you have just underlined the fact that cultures and races are SO different from one another that a subjective comparison becomes inevitable. WE are better than THEY.
Hence culture clashes/wars become inevitable.

There is more than one God!!! There is no right or wrong God and you will not burn in hell if you worship the wrong God. There are different ways of worshipping God(s) and as long as you live a very decent life and you are honest, hard-working and helping your elders and respectful you are going to be OK. Gods have always existed, they are not man-made, however, religions are man made, and its man's idea of what God thinks and says. Don't follow other people's ideas, follow the true God(s) that you believe in.

There is one true God. The God of the Bible who is our creator. There is one God but three forms or manifestations: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
The bottom line is God created us out of love and made way for our salvation once sin entered in the world. That way is through Jesus (God the Son). He died on the cross for our sins. The bible is clear nobody comes to the Father (heaven) but by Jesus. There is only one true God and other religions are not worshiping true god.
I challenge you to start with the book of John and discover the one true God if you do not already know Him. John 3:16
Once you have met Him and are indwelt with the Holy Spirit you will know there is only one God.

There is a God, I know because I was called to follow Him through Jesus, one special moment in my life when He revealed Himself to me. Since that day I've found strength and peace, you know all the stuff Christians are supposed to find, but it's still not an easy faith to follow, Jesus said take up your cross and He wasn't kidding! As to do we all follow the same God, I'm afraid not, Christians and Jewish have the same God but obviously the Jews have rejected Jesus, whereas Christians have embraced the docrine of Jesus being the only way to God. The muslims will often claim to follow the same God but their God is nothing like mine, so they can't. It's best to try and respect all beliefs but not to waver from the path.

Islam, Judaism, and Christianity worship the same God, the God of Abraham.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states, "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."
With love in Christ.

I believe in one God. Moslems and Christians (including Roman Catholics) have the same God because our beliefs originated from Judaism.
