Clothes and hair don't completely make the person, its all in how you carry yourself. Peace.

The short hair cut has nothing to do with it but some women can pull it off better then others. If you found out you can't pull the hair style off then let your hair grow out longer. It's a sterotype but whatever. Next being a "stud" or "fem" is more then how you look, it's about how you act too. Think about how you act and react to things. Change it if you want to, but don't be fake. Next about how you dress is just getting more fitted outfits with a bit of girly look to them. You can go anywhere and pick up a "fem" looking outfit. Take a friend shopping with you if you're unsure. Really though you should just be yourself. Don't try to be someone you're not. Oh and don't give out you're number online, it's not safe at all.

Never put your phone number on the internet - you should be smarter than that.
You say you hate being a lesbian. Before you can decide what to wear, how about talking to someone who can help you feel better about yourself. Being a lesbian is great- once you accept yourself. Check out some groups with activities that interest you. You dress all over the place because you aren't comfortable with YOU yet. After you start feeling better about who you are inside, then ask some friends who dress that way you admire. Since money is an issue, start off with one outfit.

Let your hair grow out, and try to find a female friend that dresses in a way that you like and see if she will help you find a new wardrobe. With money being an issue, maybe try some second hand stores - that way you can experiment more with your look without spending a ton of money.

well, you can grow your hair out and buy a few feminine clothing items to combine in your wardrobe. however, this might not make you look more "femme", but more like a butch trying to be femme, and you must take that into consideration. also, there is nothing wrong with being a lesbian, on the contrary. you should be proud!

Maybe if you take a shopping spree and tottaly avoid the boys side of the store hehe. Personaly i LOVE the way cloths from hollister look on girls. Abrecrombie works too but thats a little less subtle. Hollister gives a surfer/laid back look wich is realy pretty. On guys its just plain sexy.

There is such a thing as a soft butch/'tweener. It's someone who is both butch and femme...AT THE SAME TIME. Just try to find a way to be comfortable in your own skin. It takes a while, but it's worth it in the end.

My dear,
Its all in the way you style yourself that depicts the way you look. If you dress up manly then you will be define as masculine . My advice to you is to look at fashion websites that shows you how to dress up in style. The power suit is still feminine if you potray yourself as a feminine.

As for your looks. Try to learn new make up techniques to enhance your feminine features. It does not have to be expansive items. Make up artist makes wonders with basic essentials. Learn new tips
As for your short hair, I would advise you to grow it longer. In the meantime experiment with hair extensions.See this music video of Celine dion, she has short hair but with added extensions she looked so beautiful and feminine.
