The people in office have nothing to do with the availability of bottled water.
Would you prefer if we were not allowed to buy these things? If water is more expensive than soda it's because the people buying it value it more at the time of purchase. We call it the free market.
I don't know where you got that info on medications. What about vaccines (among many other things)? Rubbish.

Water cost more per gallon than Gasoline!!
Raising gas prices the at the start of the Katrina Crisis, was like shouting fire to evacuate a building where the stairs and exits had been made slippery.

Hmm...
People buy water in 12 oz. bottles?
Medications have always been either to treat the disease or the symptom.
Gas stations finally figure out that someone needs to pay for that compressor and maintenance.
Perhaps we need to take a better look at ourselves and our priorities.

Well, the luxury of humans had been destroying the promised paradise... and we have been thinking about the solutions... but do you think greed could be much more worse? I guess I agree with you.

We live in a Capitalist society. People will try to sell whatever they can get their hands on. I agree that our priorities aren't the best, but politicians have nothing to do with it.

I stopped to think about your question, and missed my bus. Now I'm gonna be late for work, and won't get paid. Damn you and your questions. Don't you realise that now my wife and family won't be able to eat tonight?
