Aaliyah was nominated by U.S to be princess of rnb in 1997. Later in 2000 she became queen of rnb worldwide. Making her the most selling rnb singer at the time. After her death in 2001 her reputation as queen was held. Today queen of rnb goes to Mary j blige👌
