when i uncheck songs they just stay there even after i unconnet the ipod and put it back so how do i get rid of those songs? and also how do u import more than 1 song at a time???

check the settings of your iPod. Click the little picture of the iPod on the bottom right of the iTunes screen. If you iPod is set to "automatically update", then iTunes updates whatever is in your library on to your iPod. If you select "Manually Update" then you can delete the songs you don't want on your iPod without affecting what is in your library.

As for your second question, if you mean importing from a cd into iTunes, unfortunately, iTunes only imports one song at a time. If you mean importing songs from your library to your iPod, then as you select the song, hold down the Apple key on your keyboard (Control key if you're using a PC). Each time you select a song, hold down the Apple key (or control key) and this will let you select more than one song.
