they love to hear the words, it makes them feel good about themselves.
they also want to be sure that they're not just hanging out with the wrong guy who don't really love them at all or they'd be wasting their time.
girls love quite a lot, and would want to be reciprocated with the same intensity.
and if you really are sensitive, had cared and loved them, it doesn't hurt to put some effort to tell them time and again, coz it works everytime and you're the one most benifited by it.
if you're not up to it, so scram, you'd be a turn-off anyway.
and wait for the girl you'd go crazy about telling her the "i love yous" so that you'd understand at last why.

I think girls ask that question because they want all that they think real love will bring. Romantic love is only a drop in the ocean of real Love. We are all looking for love. I think young girls want the validation that they are loveable. Its insecurity really. Also someone wise once said...Boys play at "love" but what they really desire is sex. Girls play at sex but what they really want is love. Girls may also be wondering if the guy really likes them or is just out for all they can get. We can only show love by our actions and caring about the other person more than our own selfish desires.

Some of us guys dont say it enough, It really depends on the girl, she could have doubts about the relationship, be insecure with the relationship, there is more than saying the words theres sharing the emotion, showing her you love her, maybe her man is not doing that

Someone would only ask that out of a sense of insecurity.
If you really love a girl though, what's wrong with telling her more often so she doesn't feel the need to question you?

Women need to hear the words,i love you...One reason they want to be sure you do love them and she isn't wasting her time with your and her time...that way she can move on with out getting to hurt...i know some guys will just say those words to get into your pants...and this has happen to many times to women...i hope you can see why now...Whats the big deal anyways,if you love someone why not tell them...i tell my mate this all the time...
and it makes him feel great...Each one of use need to hear those 3 words from time to time...

i also repeatedly ask my fiance if he loves me even if i know he does!! i believe the reason why women does that is cause we like to hear that, we are also more emosional then men so for us that means more then anything else. it feels good knowing that you are loved and that someone want to look after you!!! dont stop telling her cause then she will think you dont!!! also if you dont really mean it, just saying it so that she can stop nagging just know you are heading for disaster and will hurt someone.

your lady is questioning herself and you. She is probably overwhelmed by insecurities and self doubt, however this is not an excuse to leave her immediately. If you truly 'love her' as you say you do and she should just 'get it', resolve the issue by coming clear and ask her why does she doubt you. If you don't love her and just say you do to shut her up, you have just answered your own question and perpetuated her insecurity.

Girls like attention and they always want to be loved, spoiled and to be protected at all timesBUT most of all they love someone who is honest.
so when they ask you that question please don't run away or be scared rather tell the thruth as we all know that i will set you free, If u're dating her just because she has got the most beautiful body structure OR u're dating for because you're love ...tell her that too cause she needs to hear it..in order to feel secured.

A girl who asks this over and over is feeling insecure. She may have low self esteem and needs you to assure her that you really do love her.
