I use it because of society, and the press. Everything is societies fault and the press is what shapes society therefore everything is the presses fault, and I have no guilt what so ever.
But in all reality there I would say there are multiple reasons; to express emotion, because of the people you're around, and because words can often be very useful as weapons. I was talking to a foreign exchange student a few years ago and asked if they had swearing in the languages he knew (Which if I remember right were Korean, French, Spanish and English) and he said, "Of course, words are great way to hurt your enemies... And friends."

That is a good question. People say things when they're pissed but there still should be no excuse because mental abuse is worse than physical, because it scars you for life. It hurts so bad everyone has used abusive language or has had someone use it toward them. It makes you feel like **** when people downgrade you.

We use swear words when we are to dumb to know how to express ourselves or we don't have the mind power or know how to use better language to express ourselves. When we swear it shows just how stupid we really are.

Sometimes, it's just the bringing up or the friends that we have made us talk like that. For me, I use them as a sort of punctunations.

In adults, it may help to get a point across....but it can be seen as a deterrent to proper maturity of children...very sad

because for some of us that was all that we knew growing up and all that we heard growing up so we learned to incorporate that launguage into our everyday life and while it isnt right there really is nothing else that we know because that is how we were brought up.
