lately, i've had times where i start crying for no reason, and that's usually followed by a desire to just shut myself in my bedroom and sleep. it doesn't happen very often, or last for very long. i'm on Paxil cr, and i'm not suicidal. what's going on with me?

depression could do that.
But don't stop there !!!
Go back to your regular doctor because Hormones could be a very likely cause of it as well.
Get you hormone levels checked and see if that could be it.

Maybe it's due to hormones. It's likely that you feel this way at a certain time each month. Keep a diary of when you feel this way & you may see a pattern. I feel a need to be alone once a month & also feel very tired. Because I know the reason why, I don't feel like I am going mad!
