I dont like israel..but here is my ideas.

1. because Hizbollah is not regimented in warfare. Which is best..no clear cut targets. No troops., plus Israel is hemmed in secretly by outside sources (such as the US)
2. the missle defense system i believe has little to no readings on low flying missles such as what they use. I believe it is used more for possible nukes,airstrikes by planes..etc. Those rockets used are more insidous.
3. They did lose..why would they sign a ceasefire? If they are defending their state, why stop defending it? Its all about politics. They are very weak, but the weapons are strong. Imagine giving a monkey a gun, she he can shoot you..but not likely.
finally, Hizbollah is not powerful in its military might, but perhaps in its strategy and warfare type. They could never just enter Israel as a regiment as Israel does to Lebenon. If Iran gets involved, Syria gets involved..Israel is truly going to be destroyed.
Oh well...history repeats itself.
